Ants are mentioned twice in the Bible and both times are in the book of Proverbs.

They are little insects that live in big groups in the ground and they are known for being industrious. We read in Proverbs 6:6 "Go the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!"

The ant is a brilliant example to show a person what hard work is.

A simple Bible lesson can be taught using this Bible verse. We all get lazy from time to time. As soos as we realize that laziness sets in, we should force ourselves to think of these little insects and how they just keep on working, working, working...
