These words convey all the things we want for this person's future. It is listened to, and drank in, reflected on and sometimes even drives how the person makes decisions. We normally give gifts to others, which we would buy for ourselves, but the same is also true of the words we speak. The Bible teaches us to do unto others as we would have ohters do to us. (Matt7:12) So that would even be true of our words at any time, but especially at birthday times. Christ had good, encouraging, uplifting, releasing, cleansing and beautiful words to say to people. He knew they needed it, and we know we do. We all do! Whether it's a speech, whether it's a card, a call, a message or a hug - birthday words wrap love around us. It keeps our hearts "warm" and lets us know that we are loved and that someone cares.
